主要理念：
1. 整合系所專業特性，集結3個學院、5個系所、11位教授及高苑科技大學建築系許家彰教授共同開設跨領域課程共六門，以培養學生整合性思維能力，引導創意與自主性的學習，並邀請社區地方單位及校外專家學者分享共學，落實大學社會責任。
2.於場域設立「高大創新發展行動中心」，將為師生社區蹲點、執行社區總體營造行動方案，導入大學能量之據點，以大樹莊園經濟為核心，問題發掘和解決為取向，將知識介入社區，引導地方社區之自主行動，?集地方主體意識和力量，在帶動學生參與的過程中，陪伴和引領社區的自我覺察和創新行動。
1. We integrate the professional characteristics of the departments. There are three colleges, five departments, eleven professors and Professor Xu Jiazhang of the Department of Architecture in Gaoyuan University of Science and Technology join to the program. And setting up six interdisciplinary courses to cultivate students' ability of integrated thinking and guide creativity. We invited local communities and experts outside the school to have a creative learning and implement university social responsibility.
2. "NUK Innovation and Development Action Center" was set in the site. The center will become a place to train the teachers and students. It will focus on the economics of the problem-solving and solution, knowledge Intervene in the community to guide the local community's self-determined actions. Bring together the awareness and strength of local subjects, accompany and lead the community's self-awareness and innovation.
計畫簡介：
高雄傳統農業區大樹面臨結構性困境。從傳統產業，邁向結合學術、智慧科技和未來休閒生活，以服務業為基礎的莊園經濟和新鄉村生活，是本計畫核心行動。
「河谷莊園、鄉村經濟」是地區經濟與就業發展的新戰略構想，與農業有關的知識經濟，以農業為基礎，知識介入為核心，由莊園故事、數據地圖、品鑑品牌為載體，融合農業生產、觀光休閒、科學教育、生態保育、養生度假、商務會議等於一體。創新轉型的發展模式，有待於大學專業知識與各種技術支援、輔導。
DaSue is a traditional agricultural district in Kaohsiung, facing structural difficulties. We hope to change the traditional industries to the academics, smart technology and the future of leisure life. The service industry, estate economy and new rural life are the core actions of the project.
"River Valley Estates and Rural Economy" is a new strategic concept for regional economic and employment development. The knowledge-based economy related to agriculture is based on agriculture, and knowledge intervention. It is based on the story of the manor, the data map, and the tasting brand as the carrier to integrate agriculture. Production, sightseeing leisure, science education, ecological conservation, health vacations and business meetings are all integrated. The development mode of innovation and transformation requires the university’s professional knowledge and various technical support.

欲解決問題：
計畫執行初期師生與社區的交流對話中，稍嫌生疏且缺乏活力，導致執行過程中發想之建議較無法貼近社區需求；本次參與計畫之師資對於地方資訊掌握度不高，無法引動學生思考更深層的議題。此外，該執行場域，過去已有與其他大專院校合作之經驗，因過度擾動導致居民、農民參與興致低，無法與執行計畫團隊做更深度的交流及對話，導致計畫在推動初期略有停滯。學校方面，因微課程啟動時間尚未銜接上學校的教學時程，招生與課程規劃方面不如預期發酵，雖已順利開課，但課程相關樣態及教學模式尚未定調，於後續計畫操作上會逐漸調整，讓師生可以適應其與地方接觸的多元教學創新模式。
解決方案：
於龍目社區成立「高大創新發展行動中心」後，由計畫辦公室籌組莊園系列活動，展開實地踏查與資料探勘，透過三組專業教師成長社群及三門師生共同成長學習課程將計畫成員分為莊園故事、數據地圖、品鑑與品牌認證三組主題，激發師生教研能量；各組依照行動需求，以教師授課、外部專家指導、知名業者分享、小組討論等方式培養基礎知識能力，漸進與地方社區產生連結，進而協助社區思考產業、在地人才資源的發展。
未來願景：
1. 人力扎根-大學社會責任計畫 USR 的協助，引導大學教師與學生進入場域，並透過行動中心的模式直接扎根在場域。進入場域的，並不是人力派遣，而是以解決問題為導向的知識介入。這種模式提供了大樹幸福莊園永續經營的基礎。
2.大學翻轉-這種模式運作的平台不是在高雄大學校園，而是直接在場域上發生、滾動與成長。教師與學生的成果，也直接與場域結合，技術成果、創新創業以及就業機會的打造，都是直接在場域發生。
3.大樹莊園-這個計畫因此沒有傳統所謂「退場」的問題，而是從一開始就讓未來發展力量的媒合，建立在地方「永續經營」的基礎上。
