讓桃園海岸永續發展，包含了自然環境、社區發展和在地文化的保存，並藉由科學實證結果作為環境保護與開發兩造的對話基準。保護在地文化與推動社會企業，並鏈結大學社會責任(USR)與企業社會責任(CSR)之間的合作關係，來促進海岸社區發展。與在地居民共同合作，藉由海岸環境監測、保育行動、環境教育、社會企業推動等，建立海岸社區的永續發展，建立桃園海岸生態綠色走廊，讓桃園海岸魅力再現。

Our vision is to develop a sustainable coastal environment for the Taoyuan county, which includes the preservation of natural environment, promotion of local culture, and development of local community. In addition, the dialogue between environmental protection and development should base on the objective data that are obtained through rigorous scientific research. To promote the coastal community development in the local culture protection and preservation and social enterprise cultivation, the partnership between university and enterprise through linking the projects of USR and corporate social responsibility (CSR) is an effective way. The sustainable coastal environment can be achieved by cooperating with local residents , monitoring the coast environment, carrying out environmental education, and practicing conservation actions. By doing so, the so-called “Taoyuan coastal ecological green corridor” can be established, which could make the Taoyuan coast charming again.

桃園海岸為實踐場域，自環境永續及文化保存切入，與居民共同梳理待解議題，確立以科學的事實數據與分析結果，作為在保育和開發兩造之平衡依據，考量在地文化保存，以發展社會企業，導入USR及CSR，搭配社區永續發展之需，以三生一體(生態、生活、生產)，透過海岸環境監測及環境保育行動，健全在地之環境教育及社會企業，形塑低開發衝擊的環教觀光產業，成為桃園海岸環境生態綠色廊道，創造地方環境與社區共生再興。

The area that the USR project is concerned is the Taoyuan costal region. Our vision is to develop a sustainable Taoyuan coastal environment that includes natural environment, local communities and the specific Hakka Fishery Culture. Through communicating with the residents, the issues that they are concerned can be explored and defined. And the consensus that the debate on the issues of environment protection and development should base on objective scientific facts and data is made. In consideration of the local culture preservation and social enterprise development, the partnership between local community, USR and CSR combined with the coastal environment monitoring and conservation actions are required. By doing so, the integration of ecology, living and economy can be achieved and the goals of cultivating and developing a social enterprise focusing on the tourism industry with low environment impact and high social benefit can be accomplished.

桃園海岸面臨環境保護與經濟開發的兩難，而社區人口老化、人才流失，使海岸社區面臨存續危機，如何讓海岸環境與社區永續，且引動青年回流創業生根，使人口回流，而推動地方創生過程中，如何保育生態、降低人為活動的環境負面影響，為本計畫重要課題。

The coastal areas of taoyuan city are faced with the choice of environmental protection and economic development, and the aging population of the community makes the community face the survival crisis. How to make the coastal environment and community sustainable, motivate the young people to take root, make the population return, and promote the local creation process, how to protect the ecology and reduce the negative impact of human activities on the environment, is an important topic of this project.

以中大永續發展精神為核心，連結校園教學與桃園海岸在地議題，從在地出發，凝聚地方共識，落實大學社會責任及推動師生社會創新，回應地方需求，促成地方創生振興。以桃園各海岸社區之振興發展與環境永續為主體目標，自桃園海岸由南向北，逐步建立完成桃園海岸生態綠色廊道，結合跨域、跨校團隊之能量，參與社區並協助在地發展，共享成果。

In the spirit of sustainable development, we link education with local issues in Taoyuan coast, build local consensus, implement university social responsibility and promote innovation of teachers and students, respond to local needs and contribute to local development and progress. Taking the development and environmental sustainability of coastal communities in Taoyuan city as the main goal, Taoyuan coastal ecological green corridor will be gradually established and completed. Combining the energy of cross-domain and cross-school teams, we will participate in the community and assist in the local development to share the results.

桃園海岸生態綠色廊道連線成形，各社區夥伴皆有舞台且能為家鄉有所發揮，並透過桃園海岸礁體、石滬、沙丘之圖資建立，使第一階段之桃園海岸環境教育教材建置完成，在軟硬體皆建備的基礎下，讓桃園境內更多師生團隊投入在地創生。在師生團隊、社區夥伴、政府單位三方協力合作下，期許桃園海岸環境污染管制能更加完善，讓桃園海岸成為百代子孫都能親近的魅力海岸，成為從海外踏入國門的第一美景—豔霞動人的海岸夕照。

Through the connection of Taoyuan coastal ecological green corridor and the establishment of the map of Taoyuan coastal landscape, the teaching materials of Taoyuan coastal environmental education in the first stage are completed, and on the basis of the completion of both hardware and software, more teachers and students in Taoyuan will be involved in the sustainable development of the community. With the cooperation of teachers and students, community partners and the government, we hope to improve the environmental pollution control of Taoyuan coast, make Taoyuan coast become a charming coast accessible to all generations of children and grandchildren, and become the first beautiful scenery when stepping into the country from overseas -- the beautiful and touching coast.
